Mirziyoyev began reforming the judicial system
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev closely reviewed a presentation dedicated to reforming the judicial system and developing fair justice. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Through the information and proposals presented to the head of state, pressing issues in our country's judicial system, their solutions, and important reforms planned for the future were extensively discussed. Significant changes have taken place in the judicial system in recent years.

The court has been transformed not as a punitive body, but as a democratic institution protecting human rights and freedoms. At the same time, administrative courts were established, a corps of judges specializing in family disputes was created, and effective mechanisms against domestic violence were introduced.

A separate judicial body was formed to resolve investment disputes. President Mirziyoyev emphasized the necessity of ensuring transparency and accessibility of court proceedings.

This process is being implemented through digitalization. For this purpose, based on the experience of developed countries, the "Digital Court" concept was developed.

This initiative serves to prevent corruption and simplify court procedures for citizens and entrepreneurs. Analyses show that a large portion of cases in civil and economic courts consist of non-contentious matters.

Therefore, it was proposed to transfer such cases to the jurisdiction of administrative bodies. This will allow citizens and business entities to resolve their appeals quickly and effectively.

Stability in judicial positions is of great importance in ensuring justice and trust. For this reason, the issue of reviewing the terms of appointment of judges was raised.

In addition, a proposal was made to establish regional inspection courts, abolishing inspection instances at the provincial level and replacing them with five large regional courts. As a result, provincial courts will operate only as appellate and cassation instances.

Fundamental reform of the personnel training system for the judicial system was also identified as an important task. The Judges' Higher School is being reorganized, and on its basis, the Adil Justice Academy is planned to be established.

This academy will play an important role in training highly qualified personnel that meet modern requirements. Source: zamin.uz
