
In recent years, the volume of housing construction in Uzbekistan has been significantly increasing. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to data from the National Statistics Committee, the number of enterprises operating in the construction sector is also growing year by year. As of August 1, 2025, a total of 29,232 enterprises engaged in construction activities were recorded in our country.
This figure has increased by 1,824 since the beginning of the year. The distribution of enterprises related to housing construction by region is as follows: 7,078 in Tashkent city, 2,640 in Tashkent region, 2,177 in Fergana region, 2,164 in Samarkand region, 2,079 in Bukhara region, 2,009 in Kashkadarya region, 1,903 in Surkhandarya region, 1,690 in Andijan region, 1,506 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 1,452 in Khorezm region, 1,350 in Namangan region, 1,196 in Jizzakh region, 1,154 in Navoi region, and 834 in Sirdaryo region.
These data were provided by the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan (source: one.uz). This growth in the construction sector positively impacts the development of the economy and plays an important role in meeting the population's housing needs.
Additionally, the increase in the number of enterprises operating in the regions contributes to stimulating the local economy. This enables the creation of new jobs, improvement of infrastructure, and enhancement of the quality of life for the people.
