People carrying sharp objects identified in Andijan
During the “Sharp” operations conducted in Andijan region, 811 cases of people carrying various sharp objects in public places were identified. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service, these cases allowed for prompt measures to be taken to prevent crime and ensure public safety. In the past month, courts have reviewed 527 cases.

Among them, 8 cases resulted in administrative detention, and 407 cases resulted in administrative fines. Additionally, 31 individuals were sternly warned.

During the operations, it was found that citizens were carrying knives, specially prepared sticks, and sharp-textured bolts. In some cases, these actions were observed to potentially endanger peaceful citizens.

For example, in the city of Andijan, knives and specially prepared bolts were found in the hands of a group of individuals. Based on the evidence collected by law enforcement agencies, the court sentenced 5 individuals to 15 days of administrative detention.

These measures serve to enhance safety in public places for local residents and tourists. The conducted operations are important not only for identifying offenders but also for preventing future crimes.

Officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs recommend that the public remain vigilant, avoid carrying dangerous objects and interacting with strangers. At the same time, cooperation with citizens is emphasized as crucial for ensuring public safety.

Currently, public safety in Andijan region has significantly improved, and law enforcement agencies continue to take strict measures to ensure the safety of the population (source: Ministry of Internal Affairs press service).
