According to the Anti-Corruption Agency, the 6.8 billion soum public procurement carried out by Uzbekistan Airports Joint Stock Company was conducted in violation of legal regulations. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This procurement was organized as a tender for the supply, installation, and commissioning of body cameras. However, several legal violations were identified during the selection process.
The documents submitted by participants were not fully and fairly evaluated, and it was also discovered that related and interested companies participated. Several errors and shortcomings were confirmed during the evaluation.
The Anti-Corruption Agency examined these issues through a special analysis and as a result, the tender commission's protocols for determining the winner were canceled. Thus, the illegal public procurement was prevented.
All official documents collected during the process were sent to law enforcement agencies to ensure they receive legal assessment (source: zamin.uz).
