In the Karmana district of Navoi region, a child attending a preschool institution suffered a broken arm during playtime. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Despite the child sustaining a serious injury, necessary medical assistance was not provided. Instead of taking the child to an emergency medical facility, the institution’s staff took the child to a traditional healer active in the community.
This incident caused significant dissatisfaction among the child’s parents and local residents. They emphasized that the child was deprived of the required medical care and that their health was put at risk.
An official investigation was conducted by the internal affairs authorities of Karmana district regarding the incident. According to the investigation results, it was found that the kindergarten staff acted negligently in their duties and showed irresponsibility towards the child’s safety and health.
Following the investigation, the employment contract with the negligent educator was terminated. Additionally, the assistant staff member involved was subjected to disciplinary action.
This case highlights the need for increased attention to safety and medical assistance issues in educational institutions (source: zamin.uz).
