King of Jordan on a state visit to Uzbekistan

King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan arrived in Uzbekistan on August 25 for a state visit at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

At Samarkand International Airport, the king was warmly welcomed by Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Two national flags were raised in honor of the guest, and an honorary guard was formed.

Additionally, a ceremonial event featuring national songs and dances was organized. Within the framework of this visit, on August 26, the heads of state are scheduled to jointly visit the historical monuments of the ancient city of Samarkand.
