
During the state visit of the King of Jordan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was awarded the "An-Nahda" order of Jordan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This highest award was personally presented to our country's leader by King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. President Mirziyoyev called this award a worthy recognition of the joint efforts made to develop multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Jordan.
He also emphasized that this award expresses the friendly attitude and respect towards the people of Uzbekistan. As a result of the historic visit of the King of Jordan to Uzbekistan and productive negotiations, relations between the two countries have reached a new level.
The leaders agreed to expand cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, transport, and cultural-humanitarian fields. King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein highlighted Jordan's rapid development, peaceful foreign policy, and growing influence on the international stage.
President Mirziyoyev stated that this high award holds great significance as a symbol of strong friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Jordan. Concluding his speech, he expressed gratitude to King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein and wished peace and prosperity to the people of Jordan.
