New tariffs have been introduced for heavy and large trucks operating within the territory of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These changes determine the payment amount based on the tons exceeding the permitted weight of the trucks. For example, if a truck exceeds the permitted weight by up to 5 tons, a fee of 330 soums is charged; if it exceeds by up to 20 tons, 1,730 soums; and if it exceeds 50 tons, a fee of 17,386 soums is applied.
Additionally, new prices have been set for reviewing applications and coordinating routes in the “License” system. For the first 100 kilometers, a fee of 222,000 soums is charged, and for each subsequent kilometer, 989 soums are charged.
Previously, these fees were set in US dollars, calculated as 25 dollars for the first 100 kilometers and 0.11 dollars for each additional kilometer, but now the calculations are made in the national currency. These changes aim to make the transportation process more precise and convenient.
