
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will participate in the military parade held in Beijing on September 3rd to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and China's liberation from Japanese invasion. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan have also been invited to this ceremony. Additionally, leaders of Russia, Belarus, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, as well as North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, will participate in this event for the first time since 2019.
In total, 21 foreign heads of state have been invited. This military parade is the largest-scale event since the pandemic, featuring for the first time demonstrations of hypersonic missiles, electronic warfare systems, new generation drones, ZTZ-201 tanks, and Dongfeng-31 missile complexes.
Approximately ten thousand military personnel, over one hundred aircraft, and hundreds of modern military equipment will take part in the display. These celebratory events continue the SCO summit.
