Important diplomatic agreements have been reached between Uzbekistan and Jordan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Accordingly, from September 25, 2025, citizens of Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to travel to Jordan visa-free. This decision was made based on an official agreement signed between the governments of the two countries on August 26 in the city of Samarkand.
According to the agreement, citizens of Uzbekistan can stay in Jordan visa-free for up to 30 days. This new arrangement will serve to further strengthen the friendly relations between the countries.
Additionally, the parties signed a number of documents to expand cooperation in tourism and aviation. In particular, regular flights between the cities of Tashkent and Amman are planned to be established.
This will help further develop connections between the citizens of the two countries. Until now, as of August 1, 2025, citizens of Uzbekistan still had to obtain a visa at the border when entering Jordan.
At the same time, Jordanians have the opportunity to obtain an electronic entry visa or a tourist visa through consular institutions in a simplified procedure when traveling to Uzbekistan. Earlier, in February 2025, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov reached an agreement on visa-free entry for diplomatic passport holders during a meeting with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi in Jordan.
This is another important indicator of the friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries. Source: zamin.uz
