Housing ownership rights granted to internal affairs officers
According to Resolution No. 543 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 28, 2025, a new benefit has been introduced for employees who have served effectively for many years in internal affairs bodies and have retired, as well as for their family members. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In accordance with the resolution, housing previously provided for temporary use will be formalized as private property at the expense of state funds. This right applies to internal affairs pensioners who completed their full service period or were discharged to the reserve due to health reasons before July 4, 2022.

Moreover, this opportunity applies not only to former employees but also to their family members. If family members do not have private residential property in their name, they will also have the right to benefit from this privilege.

Additionally, family members of deceased employees and pensioners who served in the internal affairs system will also be provided with housing. The provision of housing as private property at the expense of state funds is not only financial assistance but also recognition of those who have served.

This resolution is recognized as an important legal document aimed at social support for internal affairs officers and their families (source: Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan).
