Today, on September 1, some roads in Tashkent city will be temporarily closed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The city Traffic Safety Department provided this information. A large celebration event is planned to be held in the “New Uzbekistan” park in honor of the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence.
For this reason, traffic will be temporarily restricted on several central roads of the city. Specifically, the road from Mahtumquli-Ohangaron highway to the intersection of New Uzbekistan – 4P12 road, from Cholpon street to the intersection of New Uzbekistan-National Park streets, and up to the intersection of New Uzbekistan-Temirchi streets will be closed from 17:00 to 23:00.
Law enforcement agencies apologize to residents and guests of the capital for the temporary inconvenience and recommend using adjacent and detour routes while traveling. Temporary restrictions are being introduced on the capital's roads to ensure the safety of the celebration events and maintain public order.
Experts ask drivers to plan their routes in advance and drive carefully. Detailed information can be obtained from the official sources of the city Traffic Safety Department (zamin.uz).
