An analytical article titled "Uzbekistan is becoming an international tourism center" was published in Ukraine's Kyiv Diplomatic magazine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The article provides a detailed overview of the rapid growth observed in the foreign tourism sector of our country and the measures being implemented by the government. The publication emphasizes that the simplification of visa procedures, expansion of flight routes, strengthening of close cooperation with neighboring countries, and the removal of various administrative barriers have increased people's eagerness for new experiences after the pandemic and have given a significant boost to the development of the tourism sector.
According to the journal's data, the number of foreign visitors to Uzbekistan exceeded 5.7 million throughout 2024. This figure is the highest in recent years.
The article notes that tens of thousands of tourists from European Union countries and the United States have visited our country. This process is primarily the result of the government's firm policy aimed at developing tourism infrastructure.
The construction of new hotels, improvement of the transport system, and organization of international cultural events and festivals contribute to making the tourism sector even more attractive. Thus, according to international experts, Uzbekistan is steadily taking steps to become a major tourism center not only in Central Asia but also worldwide.
This situation serves to further enhance the country's tourism potential and strengthen its position on the international stage. Source: Kyiv Diplomatic magazine.
