This figure increased by 319.3 thousand or 50.6 percent compared to the same period last year. The tourists came from various countries.
The largest number of tourists came from Russia, totaling 194.3 thousand. Visitors from Turkmenistan amounted to 147.8 thousand, making up a large part of tourists from the fraternal country.
102.9 thousand tourists arrived from Kazakhstan, while 82.1 thousand tourists visited from Kyrgyzstan. The number of tourists from China was 60.8 thousand, reflecting the developed economic and tourism relations.
60.5 thousand tourists came from Tajikistan, and 36 thousand from Turkey. Additionally, 24.9 thousand from India, 20.6 thousand from Italy, 18.7 thousand from South Korea, 17.3 thousand from Germany, and 15.5 thousand from the USA visited Uzbekistan.
The number of tourists from other countries amounted to 168.5 thousand. These figures demonstrate the geographic diversity of tourists visiting Uzbekistan and the country's growing position in global tourism.
