New measures are being introduced in Uzbekistan to support farmers and develop the textile sector. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At a video conference held by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the essence of these initiatives was presented in detail. According to the decision, farmers will receive a subsidy of one million soums per ton to prevent losses during cotton harvesting.
This assistance will encourage timely harvesting and significantly reduce losses during the picking season. Additionally, textile enterprises will also receive extra support from the government.
If enterprises grow cotton using their own funds or purchase it from the market, ten percent of the cost of the raw materials spent will be covered by the state. This measure will reduce production costs and stimulate further development of the sector.
These updates are aimed at supporting the activities of farmers and textile enterprises and contribute to the stable growth of the country's economy (source: One.uz).
