
The productive visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to China has successfully concluded. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the visit, the head of state actively participated in numerous international and bilateral events. On August 31, the president and his spouse took part in the informal part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit at the Meiszyan Congress Center in the city of Tianjin.
On September 1, he participated in the next meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State and discussions in the SCO plus format, putting forward a number of proposals and initiatives to further develop cooperation. On September 2, official negotiations were held in Beijing with the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping.
At the end of the meeting, important documents aimed at strengthening practical cooperation between the two countries were signed. On the same day, Mirziyoyev also met with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss pressing issues of bilateral relations.
Additionally, effective dialogues were organized with Chinese Premier Li Qiang, heads of foreign delegations, and representatives of major businesses. On September 3, the head of state participated in the solemn victory parade in Beijing dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
After the successful completion of the visit program, the president and the official delegation departed for Tashkent. Chinese state officials warmly saw off the high-ranking guests.
