Uzbekistan passport allows visa-free entry to 62 countries

The Uzbekistan passport ranked 72nd in the global ranking. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the latest data from the Henley Index, citizens of Uzbekistan have visa-free access to 62 countries. This ranking is based on information from the International Air Transport Association and assesses travel freedom for passport holders.

The numbers shown in the index take into account practical possibilities at border crossings and provide convenience for travelers. It should be noted that visa-free regimes do not always guarantee entry, as border migration rules and other requirements may apply.

The strongest passport worldwide belongs to Singapore, whose citizens can enter 193 countries visa-free. Japan and South Korea have visa-free access to 190 countries.

Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan holds the highest position, ranking 66th. Kyrgyzstan is 71st, Uzbekistan 72nd, Tajikistan 78th, and Turkmenistan 84th.

Additionally, Uzbekistan ranks well ahead of countries with security issues such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. The Henley Index is regularly updated, as visa regulations between countries can change.

Therefore, it is important to check consular and border service requirements before traveling. Overall, the 72nd place and 62 visa-free destinations are significant indicators for the Uzbekistan passport, and these numbers may improve further in the future with new international agreements and the development of transport routes.

The main advice for travelers is to clearly plan their trip, keep documents ready, and continuously monitor updated information. Source: zamin.uz
