Internship selection announced in Texas for young scientists

In Uzbekistan, the Innovation Development Agency has announced a special competition for young scientists aimed at enhancing innovative development and scientific potential. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This competition is designed to enable young scientists to strengthen their qualifications and gain scientific experience at foreign scientific and research institutions. The competition is organized based on the Decree No. PQ-455 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 25, 2024, and the Resolution No. 222 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated April 19, 2021.

The selected young scientists will participate in a six-month scientific internship at the University of Texas in the USA during 2025. During this internship, they will have the opportunity to perform specific scientific tasks, acquire new experiences, and improve their qualifications.

The nomination process is carried out by higher education institutions and scientific research organizations. Documents are accepted only through the unified electronic platform “internship.ilmiy.uz”.

Documents sent to other addresses or by mail will not be considered. The responsibility for ensuring the completeness and authenticity of the information during the competition process, as well as guaranteeing the participation of the nominated candidates in the internship, lies with the head of the contracting organization.
