According to Uzbekistan's Minister of Transport Ilhom Mahkamov, the negotiations include the construction of new stations as well as the renovation of existing ones. In August, Deputy Minister of Transport Jasurbek Choriev held a meeting with the leaders of Tianjin Rail Transit Group.
The Chinese company is paying great attention to this project. In addition, proposals are being prepared for the high-speed railway line between Tashkent and Samarkand.
