Starting from spring 2026, a service for calculating pensions in advance will be launched in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by Murodbek Atajonov, the executive director of the Pension Fund under the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Currently, work is underway on a program called “My Pension.”
This program allows citizens who have not yet reached retirement age to know their future pension amount in advance. The user enters their PINFL number and undergoes identification through the OneID system.
Then, their salary, work experience, education period, number of children for women, and military service for men are linked with the information systems of 26 agencies. Based on this, the pension amount is accurately calculated.
The program also answers the question of whether the required work experience for age-related pension eligibility is sufficient. If the work experience is insufficient, the program encourages moving out of the informal labor market into official and higher-paying jobs.
The initial launch of the “My Pension” program was scheduled for September 1, 2026, but the process has been accelerated and is planned to start in April-May 2026. According to the law “On State Pension Provision for Citizens” adopted in 1993, men have the right to retire at age 60 with at least 25 years of work experience, and women at age 55 with at least 20 years of work experience.
Additionally, in accordance with the President’s decree dated June 26, 2024, starting from December 1, 2026, the “My Pension” online service will begin calculating pension amounts in advance based on citizens’ electronic data (source: Spot.uz).
