During the 2025-2026 heating season, the state plans to provide one-time financial assistance to needy families. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The amount of this assistance will be 1,000,000 soums and will be provided in November. The goal is to ease the heating expenses of families in difficult situations.
This information was officially provided by the press service of the National Agency for Social Protection. Several categories have been designated to benefit from the financial assistance.
These include families registered in the “Unified Social Protection Registry,” families receiving child benefits or financial aid, families listed in the “Registry of Poor Families,” and families included in an additional list prepared by the “Mahalla Committee.” Priority categories for inclusion in the additional list are family members who have lost their breadwinner, families living with persons with disabilities of group I or II, families raising children with disabilities, residents of multi-story buildings without heating systems, families with three or more members living in one household, families caring for patients with serious illnesses, as well as elderly or disabled individuals living alone.
Those belonging to any of these categories must apply to the “Mahalla Committee” by September 25 of this year. Through these measures, the state aims to reduce heating costs for needy families and improve their living conditions.
