In the second half of 2025, within the framework of the "Initiative Budget" project, additional opportunities were created for 35 projects that were initially not selected as winners. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These projects were financed with the measures taken and funds allocated by local councils. In particular, based on the decisions of district and city councils of people's deputies, an additional 47 billion 657 million soums were allocated from the local budget.
This funding was directed to support projects that did not win initially but were important for meeting the needs of the population. As a result, another 35 projects were recognized as winners and provided with financial support for implementation.
According to the current procedure, people's deputies' councils are authorized to allocate a portion of additional funds from the local budget specifically to such projects that serve the interests of the population. This situation contributes to increasing the efficiency of the "Initiative Budget" process and allows for greater attention to the proposals of the population.
At the same time, projects that initially did not win due to lack of funds but were supported by the majority will be implemented. It is worth noting that in the second season of 2025, more than 11 million votes were cast for the "Initiative Budget," and a total of 2,332 projects with a total value exceeding 3.2 trillion soums were recognized as winners (source: zamin.uz).
