
The “Ural Airlines” plane flying from Irkutsk to Tashkent encountered an unexpected situation during takeoff. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the press service of the Eastern Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office, the plane collided with a flock of birds in the air, causing an emergency situation. The incident occurred at Irkutsk airport at 07:40 local time while the plane was taxiing to the runway.
Due to a bird entering one of the plane's engines, the crew was forced to return to the airport to ensure safety. There were six crew members and 91 passengers on board.
As a result of the incident, no one was injured and all safety regulations were fully observed. This event indicates the recurring problem of bird strikes in the aviation sector.
Earlier, it was reported that an Iberia plane flying from Madrid to Paris also collided with birds and returned to the airport in an emergency.
