
According to the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, a total of 1300 Uzbek citizens were brought back to the country from abroad within the framework of the "Return to Homeland" campaign from July 30 to August 30, 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This event was organized to rescue our compatriots from difficult situations in 15 countries around the world and to ensure their safety. During the campaign, the agency's call center and diplomatic missions received more than 3400 appeals.
In addition, legal advice and practical assistance were provided to more than 2100 citizens, and all necessary measures were taken to protect their rights and safety. Among those returned were 654 women and 438 children, as well as 163 compatriots held in deportation centers who were also brought back to the country as a result of this campaign.
Currently, the relevant authorities are implementing necessary measures to help the returned citizens adapt to the social environment and actively participate in education and labor activities. The responsible organizations are actively involved in their social integration, legal assistance, and psychological support.
