New personnel are being trained for tourism in Uzbekistan
It is no secret that Uzbekistan has great potential in the tourism sector. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has set the task of increasing the number of tourists visiting the country to 15 million by 2030. This indicator clearly shows that tourism is one of the priority sectors for the country.

The economic significance of tourism is not limited only to the number of visiting tourists. This sector is also important for creating high-quality jobs and contributing to the gross domestic product.

In the near future, about one million new jobs are expected to be created in the tourism sector. This will make a significant contribution to economic growth and employment.

However, to achieve the set goals, it is important to train qualified and capable personnel. Currently, the level of education and professional training is insufficient, and many specialists need to improve their skills.

Therefore, improving the education system in the tourism and hospitality sector has been identified as an urgent task. As officials have emphasized, three main reforms need to be implemented in this area.

First, it is necessary to expand educational opportunities. Convenient conditions should be created for students through short-term courses, evening classes, online and hybrid training programs.

Second, updating curricula to meet market needs is important. Practice-oriented programs that include modern knowledge will make future personnel competitive.

Third, cooperation with the private sector must be established. Through internships and practical training, students can improve their professional skills, which will further enhance the quality of tourism.

Thus, education is a crucial factor for the sustainable development of the tourism sector. To ensure alignment between education and the labor market, the state and private sectors should jointly introduce modern programs.

Through this approach, Uzbekistan's rich cultural heritage and natural resources will be fully appreciated, the potential of the younger generation will be unlocked, and the tourism sector will become a worthy competitor in the global market (source: zamin.uz).
