According to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology, in the first eight months of 2025, a number of effective measures were implemented in Tashkent city to improve the quality of atmospheric air and maintain healthy air. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
From January to August, 1452 facilities were inspected, and 174 night raids were organized. During these inspections, 281 violations of the law were identified, and administrative reports were issued to 154 individuals.
Additionally, the court was approached to temporarily suspend the activities of 20 enterprises, and 179 violations were eliminated. During this period, 11 modern boiler units, 19 efficient filters, and 12 dust cleaning devices were installed.
These measures are aimed at reducing the negative impact of enterprises on the environment and improving air quality in the regions. Furthermore, in 2025, it is planned to plant 200,000 tree and shrub seedlings by large construction material manufacturers and other enterprises of the 1st and 2nd categories.
These efforts serve not only to green the city but also to ensure ecological sustainability. During the first phase of the “Clean Air” campaign, held annually in two stages between April 10 and May 10, 40,050 vehicles were inspected in Tashkent city.
As a result of the inspection, it was found that 586 vehicles emitted harmful gases exceeding the norm, and the identified deficiencies were addressed according to the established procedure. These measures prevented the release of 4.7 thousand tons of harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
