The tourism sector in Bostanliq district of Tashkent region is entering a new phase. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On September 15, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev closely reviewed the large infrastructure and tourism projects being implemented in the area. In recent years, significant efforts have been made to expand tourism opportunities in Bostanliq.
Major complexes such as Amirsoy, Chinorkent, and Chorvoq Gate, along with modern hotels and recreation centers, have been launched. These facilities provide comfortable conditions for tourists throughout all four seasons of the year.
Now, the “Chimyon” international all-season resort is also joining the project. This project is being carried out in cooperation with the French company MND and has been allocated an area of 1,278 hectares.
The project plans to build modern hotels, restaurants, and a suspended cable road at an altitude of 3,300 meters above sea level. This road will not only serve skiing and snowboarding sports in winter but also enable mountain tourism and recreational activities throughout the year.
The President inspected the newly constructed 6-story hotel. This hotel can accommodate 320 tourists and is expected to serve an average of 45,000 visitors annually.
Additionally, construction continues on 7- and 5-story apart-hotels, a 7-story hotel, and a 2-story restaurant. These facilities will ensure that service quality meets international standards.
Throughout the year, these venues are expected to host more than 54,000 guests. The complex will create over 100 new jobs.
Currently, construction of 6 chalets is also underway. The head of state emphasized the necessity of providing modern services, improving staff qualifications, and implementing advanced practices.
He also gave instructions to promote the area's potential on tourism platforms and attract both local and foreign tourists. A parking lot designed for 300 cars is also being built for visitors.
The first floor of the parking facility houses a restaurant, a children's playground, and retail outlets, allowing visitors to access services in one place. The project also includes a 1,450-meter-long tunnel on the automobile road.
The tunnel, along with two bridges and pedestrian walkways, will facilitate traffic flow and ensure safety. More than 500 vehicles can pass through this road per hour.
According to experts, the construction of modern roads will fully unlock the region's tourism potential and contribute to economic growth. Additionally, nature conservation and raising ecological awareness are identified as important tasks.
The new resort and infrastructure will create thousands of new jobs in Bostanliq and provide a stable source of income for the population. As a result of providing modern services to tourists, a significant increase in the number of visitors to the country is expected.
