During his working visit to Namangan region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the activities of the "Fishvel Norin" fishery enterprise in Norin district. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This project was established with an investment of 3 million dollars, with 76 modern ponds built on an area of more than two hectares, 40 of which are operational. The enterprise cultivates sturgeon fish using a super-intensive method.
It is planned to produce 2,000 tons of high-quality fish meat annually and achieve an export volume of 5 million dollars. The head of state tasked officials with identifying regions in the republic suitable for sturgeon fish farming and expanding this system.
Additionally, instructions were given to produce fish feed in cooperation with Dutch partners, establish artificial ponds near artesian wells in Norin, and distribute them among the population. The activities of the "Firdavs" day care center established in Namangan city were also reviewed.
Opened on the initiative of entrepreneur Sayyora Qosimova, this institution is designed for 36 places and provides special education and rehabilitation services. Nine-hour individual educational programs have been developed for children, with sessions conducted by experienced neurologists, defectologists, surdologists, audiologists, educators, and psychologists.
According to the President, no person should be left without attention, and the scale of such social projects will be expanded. The head of state also reviewed the newly established center called "Five Services for an Active Life."
Built with personal funds by entrepreneur Khosiyat Ortiqova, this institution offers modern conditions, medical services, and rehabilitation programs for persons with disabilities. The center is designed for 16 places and holds eight-hour sessions daily.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also visited the "Ayqiron-1" pumping station in Chortoq district, through which 815 hectares of land are irrigated via the Katta Namangan main canal. Energy-saving equipment has been installed by entrepreneurs on a public-private partnership basis.
As a result, electricity consumption has decreased by 40 percent, and water discharge capacity has increased. The President set the task of applying this experience to all pumping stations in the region within two years and gradually introducing it to other regions of the country.
It was emphasized that the projects implemented during this visit have not only economic but also social significance. Source: zamin.uz
