
On September 20, 2023, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited New York City, United States, to participate in the 80th anniversary session of the United Nations General Assembly. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

During the visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev is scheduled to deliver a speech at the general debates of the UN General Assembly. Additionally, he will hold meetings with a number of foreign heads of state, leaders of international organizations, and representatives of major financial institutions.
Furthermore, the President will actively participate in roundtable discussions involving representatives of leading US companies and discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation with heads of transnational corporations.
