
On September 20, 2025, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in New York City, United States of America, to participate in the 80th anniversary session of the United Nations General Assembly. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The President was ceremoniously welcomed at John F. Kennedy International Airport by Paolo Zampolli, the US President’s Special Envoy for Global Partnerships, Carolyn Lemm, Chairwoman of the America-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, and other distinguished figures. President Mirziyoyev will deliver a speech at the general debate of the UN General Assembly, sharing Uzbekistan’s priority directions and global initiatives.
Additionally, he plans to hold bilateral meetings with heads of foreign states, international organizations, and major financial institutions. Furthermore, separate dialogues with leaders of leading US corporations and a roundtable involving representatives of prominent companies will be organized.
