At the recent meeting of the State Commission coordinating the admission processes to educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, important decisions were made to create new opportunities for young people who were unable to enter higher education. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Based on these decisions, additional competitions will be held for vacant places in bachelor's degree programs. Applicants who scored 56.7 points or higher but were not recommended for admission can participate in this competition.
Additionally, applicants who did not choose a higher education institution or program during the second registration phase will be given another opportunity. Furthermore, based on the entrance exam results, applicants will be offered the possibility to study under a tiered tuition contract.
The State Commission also approved state orders for foreign and non-governmental higher education institutions in the republic. It is also an important update that additional grants and tuition contract places have been allocated specifically for the youth of Karakalpakstan.
At the same time, the quotas for the Presidential grant were redistributed by fields of education, and the results of the admission competition to the master's programs of state higher education institutions were approved. These changes aim to expand educational opportunities for young people and enhance the efficiency of the education system.
