Major construction work has begun in the Bektemir district of Tashkent city to improve road infrastructure. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Starting from September 21, 2025, the Bektemir road and the Great Ring Road intersection have been temporarily closed. This was officially announced by the City Transport and Road-Transport Infrastructure Development Department.
Road construction and repair work are being carried out at this intersection. For this reason, bus routes numbered 39, 45, 68, 93, 110, 117, 128, and 130 have been temporarily changed.
Buses will operate via newly established temporary roads. Traffic congestion may occur during construction, and bus intervals may be extended.
Officials ask passengers for patience and understanding. The changes in routes will remain in effect until the construction is completed.
