
At the international forum "From Poverty to Prosperity" held in Namangan city, the "Ishonch" fund announced that it will allocate 20 million dollars to improve the quality of schools in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These funds will be directed towards improving water supply, sanitation, and hygiene conditions in schools, as well as installing environmentally friendly energy sources and safe heating systems. Within the framework of the project, 45 rural schools will be renovated, aiming to create a comfortable and safe educational environment for 31,500 students, especially adolescent girls.
Additionally, 2,700 teachers and school staff will undergo special training courses on climate change resilience and hygiene. This project will be monitored by the public in real-time through the "My Best School" portal.
