According to the decision adopted by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, applicants who score 56.7 points or less in the exam are no longer eligible to enter state higher education institutions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Previously, since 2017, students who scored below this threshold could still enroll, but only if they paid a "super-muper" fee amounting to twice the highest tuition contract. This regulation was officially abolished starting from September 13, 2025, and the admission rules were updated.
These changes were made to improve the quality of education and ensure a fair selection system. More detailed information can be found on the Uz24.uz website.
