
Traffic along Shota Rustaveli street in Tashkent city has been temporarily stopped due to repair works being carried out on this street. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to official information, from 17:00 on September 26 until 07:00 on September 29, vehicle movement is restricted in the direction from the Southern railway station to Sergeli (“O‘zgarish” bridge). In this regard, the capital's transport department announced changes to bus routes passing through this area.
Specifically, buses number 32 and 59 will operate via Gavhar, Dombirabod, and Kichik halqa yo‘li streets. Additionally, buses number 8, 38, 40, 48, 57, 58, 59, 62, 75, 84, 105, 126, and 131 are redirected through Yangi Sergeli road, THAY, Fayzli Tashkent, and Kichik halqa yo‘li.
It was emphasized that traffic jams may occur on the roads during the repair works and that bus intervals may increase. Therefore, passengers are requested to plan their trips in advance.
As a reminder, the section of Shota Rustaveli street from Shahrisabz street to Chopon ota street was recently reconstructed and technically opened. Currently, some repair works are ongoing, so residents should move cautiously.
