He served effectively as the State Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, First Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources. Jo‘rabekov held important state positions during Islam Karimov’s era and made a significant contribution to the development of the country, securing his place in history as a distinguished figure.
In his memoirs, the late Jo‘rabekov emphasized that the first president of Uzbekistan had tasked him with blowing up the bridge connecting Afghanistan, but he did not carry out this order. In doing so, he helped preserve friendship and relations between the two peoples.
