In accordance with the President's decree, the state compensates the difference between the base rate and the increased prices for the portion of electricity consumption exceeding 150 kilowatt-hours and natural gas consumption exceeding 150 cubic meters.
In August, a total of 222,887 families were deemed eligible to receive compensation. At the same time, more than 1,711,000 needy families applied for compensation through the general procedure.
During the reporting period, 3.6 billion soums of the allocated funds were spent on electricity, and 552.7 million soums on natural gas payments. This indicator represents the next portion of the total 17.3 billion soums in compensation paid to 350,600 families from May to August.
