In his congratulatory message, the Head of State emphasized the important role of teachers and mentors in the development of society and highly appreciated their work. According to the President, teachers dedicate their lives to the most honorable and responsible profession, making a great contribution to raising the younger generation to be knowledgeable, morally mature, and patriotic.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also provided information about upcoming reforms in the education sector. Starting from 2026, “New Generation” kindergartens similar to Presidential schools will be established in Karakalpakstan and all regions.
In these kindergartens, educators will have the opportunity to deeply study modern pedagogical technologies. Important innovations will be introduced in the education system from the new academic year.
Among them, a phased transition to 12-year general secondary education is planned. In addition, unified state exams will be organized for 9th and 11th-grade students.
The exam results will allow graduates to directly enter technical schools or higher education institutions. Furthermore, starting from the new year, additional social support will be provided to highly qualified teachers with more than 15 years of pedagogical experience.
For them, 25 percent of the initial payment for mortgage loans will be covered by the state. Experts believe that these measures will not only enhance the status of teachers and mentors but also help bring the efficiency of the education system to a new level.
