A new decision has been made in Uzbekistan to develop a network of schools specializing in natural sciences. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the establishment of several branches of the specialized school named after Abu Ali ibn Sino. According to this decision, several branches are planned to be opened in 2025.
In the following years, namely 2026 and 2027, the construction of new branches and the reconstruction of existing ones are also planned. The Abu Ali ibn Sino school in Tashkent city is designated as the main school for natural sciences, and its branches will be organized based on a unified standard.
All necessary conditions will be created for students at the branches. Admission to the branches starts from the 7th grade, and each class can have a maximum of 24 students.
Admission quotas are determined by the Agency for Specialized Educational Institutions. Additionally, students at the branches will be provided with accommodation and a free healthy meal system will be established on an outsourcing basis.
Construction and reconstruction works will be carried out in coordination with the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regional administrations. The new branches will not only improve the quality of education but also serve to create broad opportunities for talented youth (source: zamin.uz).
