New strict measures are being implemented to ensure road traffic safety on the streets of the capital. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Road patrol service officers are stopping scooter drivers without a driving license and state registration plate and imposing administrative fines on them. These measures are aimed at ensuring compliance with traffic rules and preventing road traffic accidents.
According to the information, starting from October 1, it is mandatory to have a category “A” driving license to operate mopeds and scooters and to install a state registration plate on the vehicle. Vehicles of drivers who do not comply with these requirements are being towed to the impound lot.
This was reported by local sources. Road traffic safety officers emphasize that the main goal of introducing the new rules is to prevent illegal actions.
According to statistical data, violations of traffic rules among scooter and moped drivers are common and cause many road traffic accidents. Therefore, control has been strengthened and strict measures are being taken against offenders.
Law enforcement agencies urge the public to take the new requirements seriously. During special raids, administrative fines will be imposed on drivers who violate the rules, and their vehicles will be temporarily placed in the impound lot.
These measures are aimed at protecting citizens and others, as well as reducing road traffic accidents. Officials emphasize that by complying with legislative requirements, each driver ensures their own and passengers’ safety.
For this reason, all citizens must strictly adhere to the established rules (source: zamin.uz).
