Now, women over 55 years old and men over 60 years old can purchase train tickets for domestic routes with a 20 percent discount. This discount serves to expand pensioners' opportunities for travel and recreation.

According to the information from the Joint Stock Company "Uzbekistan Railways," the discount was introduced within the framework of the "Elderly Week" and "Pension Tourism Month" and is valid for one month. The discount applies to all domestic route trains, but it does not apply to "Afrosiyob" train tickets.

Pensioners can purchase tickets with the discount at ticket offices or online during October 2-8 and November 1-30. This new opportunity aims to reduce pensioners' travel expenses and meet their recreational needs (source: Uzbekistan Railways JSC).
