Uzbekistan's culture showcased on The Amazing Race
The traditional spirit and colorful culture of Uzbekistan were showcased to the whole world for the first time. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In the famous show "The Amazing Race," the tourism opportunities of our country were extensively highlighted. The episodes aired featured the "Andijan polka" music, sounds of karnay and surnay, carpet weaving traditions, methods of preparing dried fruits, secrets of making pomegranate juice, as well as the lifestyle of Tersak village in Urgut district.

The participants were greatly impressed by the Uzbekistan experience. Comedian Stif Tisdell called this trip unique, emphasizing the openness of the people and the beauty of the natural landscapes.

Other participants highly appreciated the hospitality, quality of service, and comfortable conditions in Samarkand. Viewers warmly received the episode and were pleased to see tasks related to local handicrafts and vivid scenes of rural life.

The filming took place from March 18 to 25, 2025, in Tersak village with the support of the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Samarkand regional administration. The work was organized by the US-based Next Field International television company.

They thoroughly coordinated logistics and security issues on site. According to Stanislav Solovkin, CEO of Next Field International, this project opened a new path for our country's recognition on the international stage.

This is also expected to create significant opportunities in the field of film-tourism. The dances, music, national dishes and drinks, as well as handicraft traditions presented in the show attracted guests' attention not only to historical values but also to modern infrastructure and services.

Such projects can increase local tourism flow, develop entrepreneurship, and positively impact creative sectors. This experience was also very important for local guides, artisans, and villagers.

They gained the opportunity to collaborate with large production teams, adapt to content requirements, and master logistics and preparation protocols. In the future, tasks such as cataloging photo and film locations and forming additional service packages are planned.

Overall, this episode served as a lively invitation, creating the possibility to attract more travelers and content creators through the television audience. The main goal now is to turn this interest into a sustainable flow, maintain service quality, and enrich impressions through new routes.
