
The official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Tajikistan has been successfully completed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the visit, the head of state participated in a number of important meetings and held productive dialogues aimed at further strengthening cooperation between the two countries. Initially, Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.
The discussion covered friendly relations, promising directions in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The presidents paid special attention to implementing mutually beneficial projects and ensuring regional stability.
Additionally, President Mirziyoyev actively took part in the “Central Asia – Russia” summit held in Dushanbe and the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States. At these events, he put forward a number of initiatives related to developing political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation, implementing infrastructure projects, and ensuring information security.
According to the President, creating an environment of open dialogue and mutual trust among the regional countries is an important factor for sustainable development and the welfare of the peoples. At the final stage of the visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev was seen off at Dushanbe International Airport by the Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Qohir Rasulzoda, and other officials.
As a result of the meetings and summits, relations between the two states have reached a new level, and important steps have been taken towards cooperation among Central Asian countries. The high-ranking guest successfully completed the visit and returned to Tashkent.
