Due to repair works in the Tashkent metro, the above-ground ring line consisting of 14 stations on the “Technopark – Qipchoq” route, which was temporarily closed, is planned to be reopened from November 1. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Previously, this route was scheduled to open on October 18, but the start date was postponed by two weeks due to ongoing technical tests. During the repair period, the track condition was improved, faulty sleepers were replaced, and drainage systems and the gravel layer were tested.
Currently, trains are undergoing tests without passengers. To provide convenience for passengers, free metrobuses have been introduced on the “Technopark – Qipchoq – Technopark” route.
These buses operate only between these two stations. Source: zamin.uz.
