
The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Davron Vakhabov, held a meeting with the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment of Afghanistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The delegation was led by ACCI Deputy Chairman Ariyan Azimi. During the meeting, issues of developing trade and economic relations between the two countries, strengthening cooperation between private sectors, and increasing mutual investments were discussed.
The parties proposed important initiatives such as organizing business meetings quarterly in Tashkent, Kabul, Termez, and Balkh; opening an ACCI representative office in Tashkent; simplifying business visas for Afghan entrepreneurs; accelerating cargo transportation and customs procedures at Termez port; and holding joint trade exhibitions annually. These initiatives aim to increase bilateral trade volume, implement new investment projects, and develop cooperation among entrepreneurs.
