The global passport rankings have been updated. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the latest research results from Henley & Partners, the Uzbekistan passport ranked 82nd worldwide. This means that citizens of Uzbekistan can enter 61 countries visa-free.
Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan holds the highest position. The Kazakhstan passport ranks 67th, allowing visa-free travel to 78 countries.
Kyrgyzstan is ranked 81st, with its citizens able to enter 62 countries without a visa. Tajikistan is 87th, and Turkmenistan is placed 93rd.
Globally, Singapore has the strongest passport, with its citizens able to travel visa-free to 193 countries. South Korea and Japan follow, with visa-free access to 190 and 189 countries respectively.
For the first time, the United States has dropped out of the top ten, falling to 12th place, sharing this position with Malaysia. Russia also declined in the rankings, falling to 50th place.
As emphasized by experts from the “Henley Passport Index,” in recent years, passports from Asian countries have been strengthening their positions worldwide. This trend is explained by economic stability and increased international cooperation.
