The Green Initiative Support Fund has been established under the Youth Affairs Agency. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Up to 10 billion soms will be allocated annually for the activities of this fund. The fund's resources will be directed towards nature conservation, waste recycling, development of renewable energy sources, implementation of environmentally friendly technologies, greening of territories, forest restoration, and the development of ecotourism.
According to the Agency's information, young people will have the opportunity to receive financial assistance to implement their ideas. This support will be provided for combating climate change, preparing eco-videos, creating media platforms, and developing mobile applications aimed at reducing energy consumption.
Additionally, to involve youth in solving environmental problems and to foster a culture of careful attitude towards the environment, competitions and campaigns on energy saving are planned. These initiatives will serve to raise ecological awareness among young people and contribute to the development of the green economy in our country (source: Podrobno.uz).
