
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has arrived in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, on an official visit. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At the international airport, the head of state was welcomed by Eduards Stiprais, the European Union's Special Representative for Central Asia, along with other officials. During the visit, on October 24, President Mirziyoyev will hold talks with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
Additionally, a meeting with King Philippe of Belgium is planned. The head of state will participate in the signing ceremony of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the European Union.
During the visit, a roundtable discussion is scheduled with representatives of leading European companies and financial institutions. This visit is aimed at further strengthening relations between our country and the European Union.
