According to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, as of October 1, 2025, the population of Uzbekistan exceeded 38 million 69 thousand. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This figure is 713.7 thousand or 1.9 percent higher compared to the same period last year. Of the population, 19.1 million are men, accounting for 50.4 percent, and 18.9 million are women, accounting for 49.6 percent.

Additionally, 51 percent of the population lives in urban areas, while 49 percent reside in rural areas. The urban population amounts to 19.3 million, and the rural population is 18.6 million.

Since the beginning of the year, 177 thousand marriages have been registered in the country, and 35.4 thousand families have divorced. According to migration data, in the past 9 months, 1,133 people moved to Uzbekistan, while 7,585 people emigrated abroad.

Experts emphasize that population growth is linked to stable economic opportunities and social changes. These demographic indicators are an important reflection of social processes in the country.
