According to analyses conducted by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (ITIM) in September 2025, the business activity index in Uzbekistan reached 1162 points. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This indicator increased by 16.2 percent compared to August and by 18.5 percent compared to the same period last year. According to experts, the rise in business activity is explained by several factors.
Among them, the number of banking operations grew by 2.3 percent, the volume of trade on the goods and raw materials exchange increased by 38 percent, and activity in trademark registration rose by 13.8 percent. At the same time, the number of operating enterprises decreased by 1.3 percent, but this did not negatively affect the overall indicator.
Regionally, Andijan region leads with a 44.6 percent growth in business activity. It is followed by Khorezm (42.9%), Jizzakh (41.8%), and Tashkent region (41.3%).
These results indicate an improvement in the economic environment in the regions. Source: one.uz
